Tuxlachico, Chiapas, Mexico.

This is supposedly where cacao was first made into chocolate by the ancient Mayans. Here we are getting a demonstration of the process of turning slimy cacao nodules into chocolate. The woman is holding a cacao fruit, the center of which is what is dried, roasted, and ground into chocolate powder.
