We just got back from Chaco Culture National Historical Park, about 60 miles south of here (more later). This being our last day in New Mexico, we thought we'd end with a little local color. New Mexico paints its major freeway bridges mostly a pinkish beige, to match the landscape, I guess. In some areas around Santa Fe and on Indian reservations, local artists have apparently been given free rein. Note the motif of this bridge. Another picture coming up. . . .
