Picture taken from the patio dining room of the Hotel Mirador, a hangout for the 40's and 50's Hollywood crowd. The walls of the restaurant and lobby are lined with pictures of John Wayne, Elizabeth Taylor, Frank Sinatra, etc.

Our guide Alphonso (call be "Poncho") keeping up a near-continuous spiel of information, jokes, and inanities. He says he's a happy man--he put two sons through university so they could become a marketing manager for Bacardi and an engineer for the brewery that makes Corona. He said he's ready to retire to his hammock with all the rum and beer his boys can get him!
